There is a troubling socio-economic split between (i) those who benefit from the dominant model of capital formation [the modern corporation] and (ii) the multitude without access to the corporate form of wealth creation or who now view the corporation as dysfunctional. The growing economic cleavages are clear. The social implications of the gap between stakeholders in the status quo and the disaffected are profound, disturbing, and destabilizing.
